The sensitivity of the lips remains completely intact when hyaluronic acid is applied.

It is also recommended to avoid alcohol and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Regarding the recovery and post-treatment care:

1. Immediate after-effects: Immediately after the treatment, redness and small bumps may be visible at the injection sites. These effects typically subside within a few hours.
2. Twelve-hour rest period: It is advised to refrain from applying makeup and engaging in intense physical activity for at least twelve hours after the treatment.
3. Return to normal activities: After the short recovery period, patients can generally resume their normal activities.

A recommendation: If there is an upcoming event where you wish to look your best, it is suggested to undergo lip correction with hyaluronic acid filler at least 14 days in advance. This allows time for any swelling to subside and bruises to fade before the event.
