Non-surgical face lifting using 8 points is a procedure that aims to restore lost volume, tighten the skin, and provide a lifting effect to the face.
By strategically injecting dermal fillers into 8 specific points, we target critical areas of the central and lower face, such as sagging cheeks, flat cheekbones, and nasolabial folds. This approach yields effective and natural-looking results. The technique is suitable for individuals with mild to moderate skin sagging who desire enhanced facial contours.
Who invented 8-point face lift?
Renowned aesthetic and plastic surgeon, Mauricio de Maio, has developed and patented a technique for rejuvenating the entire face using hyaluronic acid fillers. With his extensive experience, this technique aims to address specific areas of concern on the face while minimizing the amount of filler used. The goal is to achieve natural-looking results and avoid the undesirable effect of excessive filling or “over-pumping.”

Face lifting in 8 points – what does the treatment look like?
The procedure is performed by injecting hyaluronic filler into precisely defined anatomical zones of the central and lower part of the face. The entire treatment is almost painless. The total duration of the treatment is about 70-90 minutes, depending on the amount of filler that needs to be injected.
In which points do we inject hyaluronic fillers?
- During the treatment, a small amount of filler is injected into 2 points on the cheekbones. This results in lifting the midface (cheeks and cheekbones) and reducing the nasolabial fold.
- The next point 3 is the part of the cheekbone below the tear duct, which reduces the dark circles and rlifts midface. One of the effects is the disappearance of the tired look.
- Point 4 involves injecting filler into pyriform fossa near the nose. The entire nasolabial fold is not filled, but only its deepest part. When filler is first injected into the cheekbones (points 1 and 2), it also leads to a reduction of the nasolabial fold in the remaining part.
- The corner of the lips and marionette wrinkles represent point 5. By correcting this point, the corners of the lips are lifted, which eliminates the sad expression on the face and gives the face a significantly younger look.
- Point 6 on the lower jaw is located at marionette wrinkle. By filling it, on the one hand, the marionette wrinkle is reduced, and on the other hand, the skin is tightened.
- Point 7 is located in the corner of the lower jawline and additionally contributes to the tightening.
- Point number 8 is located on the cheek.
Face lifting in 8 points – who is the candidate?
If you are older than 35. years and you notice that your nasolabial folds and dark circles have deepened, your cheekbones and cheeks have lost fullness and you have slightly loose skin, an 8-point lifting can help you solve these problems. In people with more excess skin and serious loss of subcutaneous tissue, it will not be possible to achieve a good result.
how much filler is needed for a 8 point face lift?
The amount of hyaluronic fillers required for an 8-point face lift is individual and determined during the examination. The minimum amount is 4 milliliters of filler.

Face lifting in 8 points – before and after
The image of our patient reveals a loss of facial volume, prominent dark circles, nasolabial folds, and sagging skin along the jawline. We addressed these concerns through several treatments, including the use of hyaluronic fillers.
Specifically, we:
- Filled the dark circles and temples.
- Lifted the cheekbones and midface.
- Corrected nasolabial and marionette wrinkles.
- Enhanced the lower part of the face, including the chin and jawline.
Furthermore, we administered hyaluronic fillers and Botox to eliminate forehead wrinkles. To rejuvenate her skin, we employed a combination of dermapen with skin boosters and PRP therapy.
How long do the effects last?
Considering that lifting in 8 points involves restoring volume at various depths, a combination of fillers is used. Hyaluronic fillers typically have a duration of 12-24 months. Specifically, certain areas (such as points 1 and 2, referring to the cheekbones) are treated with a hyaluronic filler that can last up to 24 months, thereby providing a significant lifting effect for a duration of 2 years. Furthermore, it is important to note that hyaluronic filler typically lasts for about 12 months. This means that after one year, a “touch-up” correction is necessary to maintain the desired results.
Side effects
After the treatment, minor bruising and slight swelling may occur, but these can be easily concealed with corrective makeup. The patient can resume their regular activities immediately after the procedure.
Who is not a candidate for a 8-point lift?
If you have considerable sagging of the skin and underlying subcutaneous tissue, as well as a substantial amount of fat tissue, it is important to note that hyaluronic fillers may not be able to effectively “lift” your face.
