Volux filler, belonging to the JUVÉDERM family of fillers, is a hyaluronic filler designed to provide a shaped, tightened, and defined look to the lower part of the face, chin, and jawline. It effectively tightens the excess skin on the lower jaw and corrects a receding chin. The earliest purpose of hyaluronic fillers was to fill wrinkles and enlarge lips. Volux, like most JUVÉDERM fillers, contains the anesthetic lidocaine. In addition, before each treatment, we apply an anesthetic cream to the patient to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

The recovery period is extremely short. After the treatment, puncture marks may remain, less often small bruises that pass after 1-3 days, and can simply be covered with concealer. Make-up should not be applied for 12 hours, it is necessary to drink more water, and the use of moisturizing creams or serums based on hyaluronic acid and vitamin C is recommended.

With the exception of mild redness and possible minor bruises of a transient nature, no side effects were recorded.
