If you ask us which agent can stand next to the most famous antiaging molecule-retinol, we’ll say it is hyaluronic acid. Today, there is practically no effective antiaging regimen that does not contain hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid, in its most popular form – hyaluronic filler, made a revolution in rejuvenation by replenishing the volume of the subcutaneous tissue of the face and body. Its role in skin care is no less important. The fact that it loves water and binds 1000 times more water than its weight makes it an essential ingredient in most serums and creams.
Now we have hyaluronic acid in front of us again in its new form of injection for skin care and glow – Profhilo. The product concept, which is an injectable form of skin care preparation, has attracted a lot of attention in the ever-evolving aesthetic market.

How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo, a product with one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market (64mg/2ml), is a skinbooster, i.e. a product for deep hydration. In addition to moisturizing the skin, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.

Who is a good candidate for Profhilo?

Can Profhilo be used for neck rejuvenation?

In addition to rejuvenating the face, Profhilo is no less effective in rejuvenating the neck. It improves the texture, provides firmness and hydration to the skin of the neck.

What does the treatment look like?

After applying the anesthetic cream, Profhilo is injected into 5 key points :
1. The most prominent point of the cheekbone,
2. Part of the cheekbone in front of the ear,
3. The root of the nasolabial fold,
4. Chin,
5. Angle of the lower jaw.

Since it involves only five injections with a thin needle, the treatment is minimally painful and lasts only a few minutes. Best of all, it requires no recovery period.

How many treatments are needed?

The first results are visible only in a few days, as it takes for the skin to start intensive synthesis of collagen and elastin, and the results are getting better day by day. Profhilo remains in the skin for 28 days, so the treatment must be repeated after a month for an optimal effect. During two months, hyaluronic acid is gradually released, restores hydration and leads to firm and fresh skin. The treatment should be repeated after 5 to 6 months.

After the treatment, you can return to your usual activities. In the next 24 hours, the use of make-up, intense physical activity, exposure to the sun and saunas are not recommended.
