If certain aesthetic problems are related exclusively to the aging process, dark circles are found in some patients even in their early 20s, and their appearance worsens over time. Dark circles are the first thing to pay attention to when rejuvenating the eye area.<\/div>\n

Why do dark circles appear?<\/h2><\/h2><\/div>
The first cause of<\/em> dark circles is specific anatomical features. This is especially noticeable in younger patients with thinner faces and flat cheeks.<\/div>\n
Another cause<\/em> is aging itself, which is reflected in the loss of fat and connective tissue of the lower eyelid, and later after 40. years of life by resorption of bone tissue.<\/div>\n
Other causes<\/em> that lead to the appearance of hollow lower eyelids are lifestyle, sudden weight loss, stress and illness.<\/div>\n<\/div>

Case presentation<\/h2><\/h2><\/div>
The aesthetically attractive lower eyelid continues smoothly and undisturbed to the upper part of the cheek. At the same time, the crossing point of these two anatomical entities should be as little noticeable as possible.<\/div>\n
The patient (30+), came to us because of sunken and darker under-eye circles, which made her look tired and older. The picture clearly shows the dark circles, the lacrimal furrow and the shadow extending along the entire lower eyelid. In addition, in the surrounding region of the cheek where the lower eyelid continues, we can notice a loss of fat and a drop in the center of the face.<\/div>\n<\/div>

BEFORE THE INTERVENTION<\/h4><\/h4><\/div>

In order to completely correct the dark circles and restore volume and a younger appearance to the eye area, we had to first treat the region under the lower lid- <\/b>part of the front cheek. We mentioned that for an aesthetically good result, the transition between the lower eyelid and the cheek must be as little noticeable as possible. Also, the applied hyaluronan in that part gives the necessary support to the lower eyelids.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We injected a total of 2 milliliters of hyaluronic filler into the upper part of the cheeks and under the eyes.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
