The exact cause of sweat gland dysfunction is unknown. Sweat can also have an unpleasant smell, which can additionally disrupt social activities. Sweaty palms can not only make greetings uncomfortable, but can also interfere with computer use, writing, and other activities that involve the use of the hands.<br \/>\nExcessive sweating usually occurs in one or two regions of the body, while sweating in other regions is normal.
